Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current information when registering.
• You must not share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use cheats, automation, bots, or scripts to manipulate scores, leaderboards, or competitions;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware or excessive traffic;
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our puzzles, content, or data without permission;
• Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights;
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.

Violations may result in score removal, account suspension, or a permanent ban, and may be reported to the relevant authorities where required.

Leaderboards & Fair Play

Scores and completion times are recorded to support leaderboards and competitions. We reserve the right to audit, adjust, or remove any score we believe was obtained through cheating, exploiting bugs, or other unfair means. Decisions of our moderators regarding fair play are final.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its puzzles, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to 3D Protagon Puzzles and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.

User-generated content (such as usernames) remains owned by you, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it as part of operating the Service (e.g. on leaderboards).

Subscriptions & Billing

The Service offers a paid subscription, the "Competition Access Pass", which unlocks participation in competitions. The following billing terms apply to that subscription:

• The Competition Access Pass is a recurring subscription that renews automatically until you cancel it.
• Fees are billed monthly in South African Rand (ZAR) via our payment processor, PayFast. For the current price, see the subscription page.
• New subscribers may receive a sign-on bonus (such as a free month with deferred first billing), as described on the subscription page. Standard recurring billing begins after any bonus period ends.
• By subscribing, you agree to the full Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Recurring Billing Authorization

By purchasing the Competition Access Pass, you authorize 3D Protagon Puzzles, through PayFast, to charge the recurring subscription fee to your selected payment method at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel. You may cancel at any time to stop future charges (see Cancellation).

You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid. If a payment fails, we (and PayFast) may retry the charge; repeated failures may result in suspension of competition access.

Payment Processing & Data

All payments are processed by PayFast, our third-party payment provider. To complete a transaction, the information you submit (such as your name, email address, mobile number, and the payment amount) is passed to PayFast, which handles the transaction securely on its own platform.

• We do not collect or store your full card, banking, or other sensitive payment instrument details — these are entered directly with PayFast.
• PayFast's handling of your payment data is governed by PayFast's terms and privacy policy, available at payfast.co.za.

Refunds

Because the Competition Access Pass grants immediate digital access, all subscription fees are non-refundable once charged. We do not provide cash or credit refunds, and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial or unused billing periods. This no-refund policy is set out in full in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which also explains how we handle billing errors.

Fee Changes

We may change our subscription fees from time to time. We will provide notice (for example by email or on the subscription page) before a change takes effect. You may cancel before a fee change applies to avoid being charged the new amount. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new fee.

Taxes

Subscription fees are billed in ZAR via PayFast and include any applicable taxes as applied by the payment processor. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your jurisdiction that are not collected at the time of billing.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that results will be accurate or reliable. You use the Service at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 3D Protagon Puzzles and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, score, or progress, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, all licences granted to you end immediately.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is based, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
