3D Word Scramble shows a target word above a scene of floating 3D letter blocks. Your job is to drag each block onto the matching slot on the answer pad and spell the word out.
It is the same anagram challenge as the flat version, but the pieces have weight and depth: you drag them through 3D space, the slot you are about to claim lights up, and wrong letters physically recoil back to the yard for a score penalty.
Anagrams are ancient — the Greeks and Romans played with rearranged-letter word games. The 3D word scramble is a modern reimagining that uses browser 3D rendering to give each letter a physical, draggable block.
What makes it distinctive is the tactile feel of dragging a solid letter into a slot and watching wrong answers physically recoil. The underlying puzzle — unscramble the letters into a valid word — is as old as wordplay itself.
The first and last letters of the target are the easiest to pin down. Place them first, then fill the middle — and remember the streak bonus rewards consecutive correct placements.
Every yard holds more blocks than the word needs. If the letter you want is buried behind another cube, press Shuffle to re-scatter the yard rather than orbiting the camera around it.
A slot glows gold as soon as your block is near enough to claim it, so you do not need pixel-perfect aim. Release while it is glowing and the block snaps home.
What happens if I place a wrong letter?
The block is bounced back to the yard with a red flash. It counts as a mistake and costs 40 points, and it resets your streak.
How do I move the camera?
Right-drag, or drag an empty area of the floor, to orbit the camera; scroll or pinch to zoom, and double-click empty space to reset the view.
How does difficulty change?
Word length grows with difficulty: Easy 4 letters, Medium 5, Hard 6 and Expert 7 — and each step adds another decoy block to the yard.
Is the target word shown?
Yes — the target word is displayed above the scene and faintly in the slots themselves, so you always know what you are spelling.
Can I play with the keyboard?
Yes. Click the board, use the left and right arrows to choose a slot, the up and down arrows to choose a letter, and Enter to place it. Backspace takes a letter back.
How is the score worked out?
Each correct letter scores full points, consecutive correct letters add a streak bonus, and finishing quickly adds a time bonus. Mistakes cost 40 points, hints cost 75, and a run with neither earns a 300-point flawless bonus and three stars.
